The LAN connection is disabled in the installation. Only WLAN is enabled.
The installation then stops at the message not have internet. If I skip the wizard I see the LAN is disabled.
Next problem - after selecting the time zone and selecting Next Wizard, the enigma crashes.

A fresh set of images here: https://www.tnapimages.com

Octagon SF8008 and Ustym4kPro can flash TNAP 6 test images online using receiver menus, provided the image is TNAP 5 or TNAP 5.1.

Edision MIO Images are included, but untested.

Type 32 has been added to channel selection

Boot and overall performance should be better for SF8008 and Ustym4kPro.

The failed to download 3rd party packages in opkg is OK because there are currently no third party packages.

Several tricks or hacks were made to get this image version to work.TNAP-6 OpenPLi branch is Scarthgap. The Sf8008 currently has display problems in Scarthgap, so some drivers were "borrowed" from Ustym4kPro to make the SF8008 work. The borrowed drivers caused a Broken blindscan for Ustym4kPro, and also caused the SF8008 to read as Ustym4kPro. A solution for this has been found. (Octagon SF8008 = Octagon Sf8008 now, & Ustym4kPro blindscans... )

The driver hack mentioned above caused the need for blindscan plugin to be altered, thus killing blindscan in Ustym4kPro. This has been corrected and blindscan should work now in Ustym4kPro.

The Scarthgap Branch calls for a time change to ntp-ntpd format. This has caused time issues, but should be mostly corrected now.

BusyBox is apparently pinging the network on Boot-Start-Up. This issue is causing a longer Boot-StartUp time.

TNAP 6 looks better here from what I see, but it has a ways to go yet. Hopefully the updated images show improvements. Scarthgap should prove to be a good branch to build from.

On the Mio4k+ the network adapters were both off at start up I activated LAN and It shows both adapters are activated now deactivated Lan and scanned for wireless and setup wireless and it is working but still shows both adapters activated. must be a bug. Tried blind scan and it said no blindscan at usr/bin found it was named blindscan-s2 so fixed that and blindscan now starts but no transponders found after about 2 seconds. thats all I found so far. Thanks

The Network adapters seems to have fixed itself after setting up both and deactivating both. now I can set either or and only one shows activated.

I'm basically where you are. TNAP6 is running with no blindscan capability. One wrinkle is I tried going to Deep Standby. After doing this, the receiver wouldn't start. It hung each time it booted. Even directing it to start again from the TNAP6 slot didn't fix. So I reflashed TNAP6 and then all was back to normal. I won't go to Deep Standby again.

You may try this and see if blindscan works:
Download and unzip attached blindscan binary
Put blindscan binary in /usr/bin of receiver files
To activate the blindscan binary, Telnet into the box using these commands:
cd /usr/bin
chmod 0755 blindscan

To verify, enter ls -l in telnet. The blindscan binary should be shown green or the same color as the rest of the binaries or scripts.
Finally, type reboot in telnet.

That binary fixed the blindscan didn't use telnet at all just replaced the file and set file permission 755 with ftp.
I didn't restore any settings after flash so it is not that with the network adapters. No big deal I know that will be fixed with time. thanks

Deep standby worked for me twice but it is slow booting.

Okay
So we are missing a blindscan binary, and the network is "buggy" or doesn't want to participate.
What else does the MIO need? Is satellite blindscan finding what it is supposed to or used to find in other versions?

This network pinging during boot is something else. OpenPLi will probably have to fix this...

Did two C band blindscans and they seem normal but but KU blindscan of 99w took alot longer than tnap 5or5.1 but it did work and found everything but 11760H was found as 11734H 30000. Going to change the tuner driver to no t2mi and see it that will fix finding that wrong freq. Thanks

Same thing for me.
The mio4K boot is OK, but the blindscan doesn't work and I haven't found a blindscan-s2.
I hope that version 6 will eventually have the same capabilities as version 5, with the extra plugin (T2mi 700mhz Europe) and the visible signal bar without lock.
I was a little late in reading, the blindscan installed a postiori works, but I think find fewer transponders than in 5.1.

My impression was right
TNAP 5.1 found 91 frequencies in 2' 53”.
TNAP 6 finds 82 frequencies in 3' 07”.
why, I don't know.
