X2 Premium Mini April 2015 firmware...

Hi.
X2 just notified me of their April software:

Now is my turn to figure out to install it without breaking anything... Never done such. Will I lose all settings/scans when updating ? ?

Thanks for sharing. I just finished testing this file and its OK to use. Unfortunately you will loose all your settings/channels. Copy the file to your USB pen drive and load it to your box using any of the 2 USB drives. Go Menu/ External device/ USB Upgrade. Make sure USB Upgrade and ALL is selected. Go to File Path and press OK. A window will pop up with the info from your USB Drive. Look and highlight the April file and Press OK in the Start section. Wail till it finish and reboot. Reload your settings and re- scan your sats. NOTE: File will give you conditional access to enter legal keys to watch special events (Biss). No need to update if you don't use these features.
