Weigel Channels Pixeling Badly After Modulation and FEC Change

Anyone else noticed MeTV and the other channels in the mux pixeling now after they updated parameters? I've noticed my U5 doesn't have that problem but my mIO 4K pixels bad I have good signal according to my meter and the STB. Meter shows 86% Q U5 shows 70% and works fine. I'm hoping to tune things up a little tomorrow but it looks like I have a fairly decent signal

Thanks for any help

Same thing here on all ch from tp 4180H.

Using a 10' Unimesh Currently showing 13.42 DB with a SNR of 89% AGC level of 58% and these readings are from the Signal Meter App not my my regular meter but it was reading real close to that last night when I checked

Thanks!

I watched MeTV around noon today for roughly one hour and did not have a problem with it. The signal was around 12.5db and the receiver was SF8008 Supreme. We are going to need more information about this of some type, but most likely, it will have to be fixed on the satellite end, or by using a different driver in the Edision. The About page shows the current driver.

Currently a toasty 101 degrees here and the Sf8008 displays snr of 12.8 db and agc of 52% on the 8psk metv channels. Using tnap 05-25 update and ten foot mesh dish with no glitching.

Driver 0211-10-3a
Gstreamer Version 1.20.5.r0

I updated to 5,1 even though it doesn't show to be any change that might affect this problem..
Puzzling for sure!

Seems to be fixed. I did not do anything on my end. Haven't saw any breakups on the MeTv mux today. I did see some yesterday and the day before. 8.5 Ft. mesh with signal of 10.8 db at this time of day. Was 10.2 db around noon time today and no problems seen on the Mio4k Plus with tnap 5.1 with latest updates.

I thought mine was ok until I viewed yesterdays recordings and they were bouncing around badly. Also notice some more of the same on todays that I have watched so far. Plenty of signal quality at 93% I'm still scratching my head on this one!

You may try changing the tuner driver and see if it helps. I would give it one more day and see if it gets better before doing anything.

Interference from 99w can be seen on the TinySa-Ultra spectrum analyzer.

Here is a look at 4180 h 30000 on 101w:

Here is a look at 99w Horizontal:

Here is a look at 97w Horizontal:
97w-H.webp

The screenshots above show a 50 MHz spread, from 4150-4200. There is definitely a signal on 99w overlapping 4180 H on 101w. I imagine this will cause some users to have reception issues for the 4180 transponder on 101w. Whatever is on 99w is pretty strong!

Could WAPA TV on 99W 4151 H 3774 be causing a problem on 101W? WAPA comes in well on my 4-foot dish like FETV used to so it must be strong and is a relatively new station from Puerto Rico.

4151 H 3774 is some 30 MHz away from 4180. 4150 Would also be at the farthest left of the three analyzer screenshots that I posted earlier. That is not what I am showing you.

Look at the screenshots of the analyzer again. The 101w Weigel transponder is at 4180H, 30000, which is 1570 MHz on the LNB line output. My lnb l.o. is 5750 MHz. Not 5150 MHz. A signal exists at 1570 MHz on the analyzer screenshots on the horizontal side for bot 101w and 99w. In other words, The Weigel transponder on 101w has another signal on the same frequency being transmitted 2 degrees away on 99w. This is gonna cause reception issues for some people!

Would be nice if someone else has a signal analyzer that they understand how to use, and can verify what my analyzer shows.

Thanks for the proof! This is what I suspected all along. Mine ,knock on wood, has been working great.
I'll see if I can get my HP to look at the L band frequency and see what t finds
