I am getting some circular transponders at or about 87West. It appears to be the new satellite for Boliva which would be "Túpac Katari".
I am getting one test channel at 12224 using V or H polarities. Other transponders are scanning in higher but no channels on them yet. EB

I have circular on a usals dish. I did a scan on 87w but did not see your TP at 12224. I am limited to DVB or Turbo 8psk. No DVD s2 on the Jynxox redceiver. Do you know if it is DVD-S2?

I do not show anything except DVB-S. Listed below is what my receiver is finding for transponders:

It would be interesting to see how far that bird reaches eb. The footprints on Satbeams shows it ending before Cuba.

I always wondered when the sats are being tested prior to assignment, if the foot prints exceed the designed parameters. In other words, giving various earth stations the ability to test the transmissions for fringe area reception. After testing, clamping down transmissions to the designed foot prints.

On another board they say this has been up off and on for the last two weeks and it's 12224 RCHP 7999. Mostly seen so far in the SE and even as far west as NM.
