optibox gekko HD network connect

What you are wanting to do should not be difficult If the pc and Gekko are connected to the same network.

this means that I connect directly an utp cable, without any router or switch?
Honestly I have tried both, but I have not been successful.
I am using os x, not windows or linux.
May be required an active FTP or windows file sharing?
