hi!everyone, I have not be using the system for a while (been away) and I know that my location had high winds and I notice that QUALITY BAR is very jumpy from 20 to 90 and zero and since the weather is nasty so I can get the direction with the motor but I was wondering if it could be the inclination. thanks. for any imput , enjoi the rest of this cold day:waving2:

Is your dish covered in snow at all? Also check your coaxial connections. If there is moisture, or they have loosened it will make the meter jump like that. Worst case go to the dish and try to repeak the signal.

it seems to me that every second day in order to get some channels I have to reset the dish....is this a common thing or is just me not doing things wright, can anyone give me an idea if this is the way things work ? thanks :fatdance::Gunman:

Check your pole to be sure it's plumb and solid.

Check your dish to be sure it's dialed in to track the arc.

Check your lnb to see if it's mounted correctly to its bracket.

Check to see if you are using the correct size dish for your location and for the sat you are trying to receive.

If using a motor, check to see if it has "motor slop", if it does, check the internal gears for damage or wear. Be sure the motor is mounted correctly to the pole.

If using an actuator, check for "play" or movement where the arm connects to the dish. If there is movement, check the ball joint for damage and also grease it properly; add shims if necessary and tighten bolt to eliminate the slop.

If you're in a fringe reception area for a specific sat due to location or inadequate dish size, you will experience resets due to the sat roaming and returning to its assigned geographic location.

thanks, now I cant get a thing on it , the dish must have moved with the wind and it is too cold and windy to get to it, appreciate the in:itchy-scratchy:put,
