I own a sg 2100 motor and like to install a 1.2meter but to do it I need an bigger tube from the motor to to connect to the larger dish and I know the adpter is out there but all the dealers including the one that sold me the motor don't have one, does anyone know were I can buy one ? thanks :omfg:
 
I used to have a New Horizons NH-210 DiSEqC Motor which is a direct copy of the Motek SG2100. I have mounted many dishes on it including a 1.2m Aluminium Gilbertini. Windshear on the dish eventually destroyed the motors gears within six months. 1.2m is pushing the limits of a DISEqc motor, especially one like the SG2100 which has nylon gears. To be honest i would go for a polar mount and a jack motor with a dish of that size.

If you still wish to persevere with the DISEqC motor i would just look for a faulty one with a larger tube like a Technomate TM2300 or TM2600 and just swap over the tube. Most of these motors are more or less a direct copy which most parts will interchange.

thank for the reply , since I am new to this I got sucker to buy the sg 2100 by someone that supposedly know ..but I guess he don't as much as he think but since I got it and running a smaller dish I might as well use it until it fails, the smaller dish is not adequate thanks:bigcry:have a nice day
