Can a FULL TNAP backup image from a full size Edision OS Mio 4k (Single tuner) be flashed to the Edision OS mini 4K? Or are there some changes where it won't work?

Thanks!

It will be rejected because the receiver name difference. Do you understand how to use telnet? Can you transfer files to the receiver using FileZilla or similar?

To clarify, A regular image will be rejected. A backup multi-boot image from a Mio will probably load and run, but there are differences between the receivers such as tuners and I think memory. A backup from the MIO should load in the Mini, but IMO, not the greatest of ideas to do so. There are better ways if you have telnet and FileZilla.

I should be able to telnet and use FileZilla

Copy the entire enigma2 folder from the MIO and install it in the Mini. This clones the receiver except for plugins, and other things that are not in the enigma2 folder. Simply copy the Whole enigma2 folder from /etc in the MIo to an accessible place for FileZilla, then Telnet to the Mini and have FileZilla ready to transfer the copied enigma2 folder into the Mini.

In the Mini telnet terminal, type init 4 to stop enigma2, delete the enigma2 folder from the Mini, and transfer the copied enigma2 folder from the MIo into the Mini. When finished, type init 3 in the terminal for the Mini and you are done. This should restore 80-90 percent or more, depending on your situation.
