Edision Mio+ Doesn't See a TP

Using my GT Media V7S5X, I see an active transponder on 77W at 12471 L 20000. In fact, this receiver blind scans in 230 TV and 10 radio channels from this satellite. Most of these are encrypted channels. But just since this morning 23 of these TV channels happen to be ITC.

However, although the Mio+ Tuner A blind scans many circular tps on 77W, it only saves 4 channels from the 12275 R 10500 tp. These have been ITC for months. But the receiver sees no signal using the Signal Finder whatsoever on 12471 L 20000 which has 19 channels ITC.

I wonder why this is?

Are you using user defined as your LNB type with your circular LNB? Been a while but if I remember correctly it should be 12250 Lo. But depends on the LNB I guess. Been a few years but last time I pointed at 77w I just used an old directv type LNB like the ones that were used on the small 18 inch dish from the SD days and I did find everything Lyngsat listed back then using the Mio4k or it could of been the VU+ zero4k can't remember it been too long ago.

I use User Defined with LOF/L and LOF/H set for 11250 MHz and Threshold set for 11700 MHz. I receive all other tps on this and other circular satellites on their correct frequencies using this configuration. A blind scan scans from 12200 to 13400 MHz. If these settings were incorrect, all tps scanned would have incorrect frequencies. So I don't think this is a configuration issue.

Another person I know has this same issue. He also uses an Edision receiver.

I put my circular moded 10750 LO LNB on this morning and have scanned in 12471 L 20000 on the MIo4k+ but they are all showing scrambled today.

Thanks for this feedback. I have theorized that I may have an LNB issue. I also am not receiving another Left polarized tp on 77W. Left requires 18 volts to reach the LNB. And that may be the problem. Supporting this is blind scan results which show duplicate tps labeled with Left and Right. I have a long cable run from receiver to dish. I need to troubleshoot.

ADDED: I found a loose connector at the LNB. I tightened it; symptom remained. But tp in question has gone back to encrypted. So reason for pursuing has disappeared. In future, I'll try a different LNB, perhaps even using a linear version since I would need to buy a new circular LNB but there's not much reason to have one nowadays.
