Cheap Receiver

Most of all my Openbox (old models S9, X5), Premium Mini and III has a lot of problem locking the 16apsk in 97W while the china no name lock fine.

The montage vt6000 isnt bad and its around 30$. I had to pass ac3 audio into a stereo system. The only big problem with mine is when controlling the usals motor it shuts down intermittently because of the voltage.

The ali3510 receiver can be had for about 22$ shipped and you have to pass ac3 to a decoding device like a stereo to get sound. It doesn't have a way to backup data and no way to control a motor.

They both work on the 3980h 30000 mux on 97w that is said to be 16apsk. I can't verify it as I have no way of telling but many people are saying its 16apsk.

I am watching the 16apsk mux on 97w with the Openbox S9. It plays it well however the audio will not sync properly and the quality meter jumps from 40-70%. No glitching at all with the Video.

Looks like the signal was fixed. Coming strong over here too in my Openbox X5 at 73%. I read somewhere this is a Charlie's project in C band, so this will go full scrambled soon.
