Since the current Android version doesn't seem to communicate with Filezilla, there's another way to get it work.
Go to the Google apps store and install FTPServer one of the few that will install with this version (see attached pix).
Go to Applications and open TvosSettings>networks>display ip address.
Open FTPServer to setup your preferences.
Enter the user and password.
Port 2121
Default interface
Default Directory
Always keep awake
Refresh media after transfer
3G connections>accept
Any network>accept
Tethering>accept
Save configuration
In Filezilla>Site Manager>new
Enter your ip address and port 2121
Login type Normal
User name and pw
Start FTPServer and Filezilla should connect.
