Unable to Record YouTube videos

This used to work on my Raptor, not sure when I lost this function, maybe when I loaded v2.11.57 a few weeks ago. Funny thing I can't find any mention on Legit about this FW. I'm sure there was a posting here somewhere with a link to the download.

Also I would like to remove You Porn, but a message comes up that it can't be deleted.

I am using Icecrypt firmware, 2.11.62. The YouTube downloads OK with it. How many downloads do you have? There is a limit on how many YouTube clips you cam download and store without deleting some.

It should not be any problem deleting the YouPorn addon. Enter YouTube and press the green remote button. A pop-up screen will appear. Press the green button again and follow the prompts to delete. EB

Some of us do not use the television as a computer monitor. We would be stuck watching these videos on the computer's monitor.

The contents of some videos have viruses and spyware that can cause problems on a computer. It is hard to infect a fta receiver with a computer virus. EB

Sometimes it's advantageous to watch on STB while using computer to do work or just surfing; unless of course, you use dual monitors.

I have no You Tube recordings at this time, and only a few recordings from MeTv.
Yes I have used the green button, pop up screen lists you Tube and Porn but errors out when you press delete.

I guess I'll have to try a different ver of FW, maybe I screwed up the current install somehow.

What does the receiver do or say when you try to record a Youtube video? Have you tried highlighting a video, then pressing the red record button on the remote?
