Polish Koders Team has developed a series of builds ENIGMA2 for Octagon receivers, which are suitable for all FORTIS receivers.
Installing and loading Enigma 2 on a USB flash drive with original software.

In the example, we used the OPTIBOX Anaconda HD receiver and an 8GB flash drive.
ATTENTION! It is recommended to use a high-performance USB flash drive with the FAT32 file system!
All operations / changes with your receiver you make at your own peril and risk.
Before proceeding with the installation of Enigma 2, you need to change the receiver's bootloader to version x.x6

    1. Download the archive with the bootloader. (see above)

    2. Format the USB flash drive in FAT32.
    3. Extract the bootloader from the archive, copy the file with the .ird extension to an empty USB flash drive.

    4. Turn off the receiver, insert the USB flash drive into the receiver. Turn on the receiver by pressing the CH_up button and hold it for 10-15 seconds or until scan appears on the display .

    OPTIBOX Gekko, Gekko Plus,Anaconda/Anaconda Plus

After changing the bootloader, we proceed directly to the installation of Enigma2 itself.
    5. We clean the flash drive.
    6. Download the Enigma 2 image, extract two files root.img and uImage from the archive. Copy these 2 files to an empty flash drive.

You can download Enigma 2 images for Optibox Anaconda/Gekko/Gekko Plus HERE .

    7. Turn off the receiver (hold the off button on the remote control for about 8 seconds). Insert the flash drive into the receiver. Press the CH_down button and hold it for 10-15 seconds or until scan appears on the display . After that, we do not touch the receiver until it boots itself.

The Anaconda Plus model does not require bootloader replacement as the installed L7.36 is
compatible with the Enigma2 image. Start installation from point No. 6
