When you do a recording on the Pansat 9500 is there a way to do so without the word "REC" staying on the tv screen? Thanks for looking.

I have not found a way to keep "REC" from being displayed on my 9500. I believe all of the Ali receivers that I have do this.

True enough, I think this is a pet peeve for many..it can be annoying and I doubt it's something they will fix.

IMO, Pansat has been about the best for adding things and correcting problems. They did take a very long time to fix the freezing on the high bit rate channels but they did fix it. I think the Pansat menus are more organized than any other Ali receiver that I have too. Ask Hyper to fix the the REC issue. Pansat will do it if possible. EB
