    WARNING!!!!!
Do NOT load flies for Golden Media Boxes into Amiko STB boxes.
They may look the same and run on Spark but the images are not fully compatible.

The problem with the ARP E2 images is they do not seem to have support for 60hz, this is the NA standard for most TV sets here. So you can load the file, but you will just have invalid input message on most sets as it's in 50hz mode.

If you can't see the video, what can be done?

Okay, I have another smaller HD TV that I switched over to and loaded the AR file and it fired up.. and also gives you the option on the setup wizard to use 50hz or 60hz..So my LG plasma does not want to go with 50hz to even see this screen...I might be able to to this blind after seeing the setup screen. Going to test this AR file out and see how that goes.

So it looks like this will depend on the TV set you use if you can see the start up menu or not.

I do not think he was saying the file would not work. I think he was saying it is not a good idea to use it as it may damage the box. Better to be safe than sorry right now imo.
We need to find an Alien Enigma2 file that will boot right up for North America. That may not be easy to do...

Well, I will say that the AR file has caused more software crashes than the PKT file, many more.. simply trying to log on to YouTube will crash the system every time, it lacks many features and plugins such as WiFi adapters..I'm not liking this file at all.. It looks to me that this file would do more damage to the box with the constant crashes..I dunno, it's all new to me.

We need a blind man's guide for the E2 wizard. This would allow us to key the correct sequence on the remote so we can see the wizard. Can you make us a guide?
