Thanks You Costa, I worked on it for a 4 hrs until it started getting dark. Put everything away & the sky opened up. wanted to smash the dish a few times trying to find 83W. LMAO Raining today as well.

Easiest of the c band sats is Galaxy 17 at 91w, scan in with awesome signal quality even on my 6' dish. If you get any signal at all, start skewing the lnbf to improve signal quality. Once you have obtained the best signal you can get pull the dish up or down to see if it improves- if it does either way you'll need to adjust your elevation.

Don't give up when you are in the arc you will see the birds. Can be a little frustrating at first but "C" band is easier the "KU" band.

You can see the birds in the clark belt on LYNGSAT.COM It is a pain but worth the trouble once you get it working. In the good old days things were easier with lots if analog channels to find, economics caused the switch to digital. I have a small hand held receiver and can scan the satellite to see what is on it and then watch on the built in screen.

Good to hear BB, it takes time and can be frustrating as well but well worth it once you have it tuned onto the Clark Belt.
