There is a little door on the right side of the unit what is that for? Can U hook up RCA jacks instead of HDMI?

Mine does not have a door that I have seen, but it does have a card slot on the side.
They should have sent you a cable for connecting the RCA jacks. Look in the box. It should be there.

One thing to remember: The USB port on the back of the receiver is located very close to the heatsink for the main chip. This allows the tip of the USB stick to get hot-around 130 degrees hot if you leave the USB connected for several hours. This has not hurt any of my USB drives or devices but you may want to get an USB extension cord and plug it into the receiver. Doing this will keep your USB drive cooler and it will also prevent you from removing an USB drive with a hot tip!!! EB

OK. I looked at my receiver and that "Door" does absolutely nothing. It is covering up a hole in the side of the receiver. This hole was made at the factory for an additional piece of hardware. Do not mess with this door or you will have a hole in the side of your receiver. EB
