Movies downloaded on my computer cannot be viewed on th TV. I get a message saying incorrect video codec. They are all AVI and ones recorded from the TV don't play on my computer as they are MPEG4. I am going to try to convert the AVI files to MPEG3, if I can. I have moved everything to my computer and am now formatting the external HDD

Although I did not resolve the problem with the movies already recorded on the S9, I can now record and view in the record area. Had to play around because when I pressed record, I got this box that asked if I wanted to us TS or PS. Had no idea what that was so I tried both PS works for me. Any idea what these are?

Wonder if there is a way to change my recoding from PS to TS as the TS is for less reliable sources such as satellite whereas the PS would be from things like DVD's. What recording I did, though, has worked extremely well.

It should ask you each time when you start a new recording what format you wish to use. So just choose TS on the next one and see how that goes.

I'll try that again. When I tried it last night, TS didn't work, but I will give it another try
