Here are a few things to think about before adjusting the backlash:
1. There is a seal over the backlash adjusting screw. Breaking this seal VOIDS the warranty.
2. Backlash refers to the amount of slack that is found between the motor gears. You will need to connect a milliamp meter to the motor in order to set the backlash.
3. All of the ku hh motors that I have tested have some backlash. It is necessary. The backlash was set at the factory and it should not need adjusting for several years of normal service.
4. If you feel that your motor has too much backlash, contact the person that sold it to you and follow their instructions on what to do in order to fix it. Remember, when you break the seal, you void the warranty!!!! EB.
