    Default S9 HDMI Failure – 09-09-2011,07:42 AM
    Morning all, has anyone had the HDMI port fail on the S9?

    Last night the sound went distorted like it was in slow motion, the picture was fine but the audio was garbled,
    So rebooted the box and just got no signal on my TV, Tried the same HDMI cable on another box and it worked just fine on the same TV port..Tried a different cable just to be sure and still no signal..powered off and unplugged the box and Unhooked everything from the S9 , tried again, same thing.

    Set it up with component and works fine, anyone have any other suggestions to try?

    I have a S9 with a bad HDMI port. Use the box for testing. Cheap FTA receivers do not last long. EB
