Question Half Bricked S9?

Was trying out several newer versions of FW this morning, all having audio issues with me so I melded my latest usb dump with the stable March FW using the editor. Loaded fine, got channels and sat motor movement fine. Hit the menu button and black screen, no response. Hard boot, recovered channels, sats. Menu, Kills. Need to force load stable FW, factory default? No idea how this is done. Need the menu to blind scan and other stuff!

Have you tried the factory file CTP?

Well, I got it back to factory! Got a loader from another site, for the solomed. Worked the first try! Took longer to track down the Null Modem, had to get out the old kit and meter and google the pinout. Going to have to be a little more careful when checking out all these new FWs. Only my March firmware works for me without audio issues. Got to know the editor alot better though. Even figured out how to change 119
