The three issues I have with the Zero 4K are:
    (1) Diseqc switch does not work on ku band.
    (2) Universal lnb does not work in blindscan.
    (3) Signal meter does not read in db. Signal meter is almost useless.

The root file system or rootfs can be unpacked and repacked OR extracted and compressed in receivers such as the Octagon SF4008 and the Zero 4K. I already had a custom image made for the Zero 4K before the box it was shipped in arrived. This is easy to do, and I will try to explain it as time permits.

Thanks for the info EB, I haven't scan 87 w yet, I give a try and see what happens, I installed the openSPA image in multiboot and it has blind scan also, I check the openpli and it does not have blind scan yet. I really like this receiver.
    Keep scanning.
    Regards.

OpenPLi has blindscan. Look in downloadable plugins under System Plugins. OpenPLi does not pre-install many options or features. You are supposed to put what you want or need in their images.

Yes. External diseqc switch does not work for me on ku band. (The exact same coax and switch works fine when connected to the Edision OS Mini.)

Mine is a Chieta 4 position diseqc switch. I will worry about that a bit later. Will try different switches...etc.

You might try blindscanning 111.1W C band. There seems to be a 16APSK transponder that is active on that satellite.
