I am hoping they will make the update package available to HDMU. The STV090x and STB6100 are laready in the kernel. However even when you add the dvb-usb-tbsqbox-id5980.fw it will still not make the dvb_usb_tbsqbox2ci. Trying to get Tbs 5980 to work. any help is appreciated !!!!

You may also try to put the firmware file for your device in lib/firmware, then manually load the modules listed below.

    opkg update
    opkg install kernel-module-stv090x
    opkg install kernel-module-stb6000
    opkg install kernel-module-tda10071
    opkg install kernel-module-cx24116
    opkg install kernel-module-stb6100

Device should be listed in console when you enter lsmod.

    Thank you!

I just cant get the tda10071. Any ideas? Not listed anywhere in packet management or download. Is there another card that uses that besides TBS 5980?

    Thanks!

This will probably take a while to be available in many different images. OpenATV also said "no package found" the last time I checked. Now the module packages are there, but the Kernel has not been patched. Keep checking and maybe it will be there one day. A TBS plugin will probably be available in downloadable plugins once all of the needed changes are made. You can get on the HDMU or OpenATV forum and request this item to be added. Doing that may help!
