I received one of these receivers today after waiting a couple weeks. It is a dual function dvb-s2 and dvb-t receiver. It does not do ac3 audio however I have not checked the coaxial audio output to see if it will pass the signal along. I picked up a soundbar with proper inputs to test it out later.

The receiver boots to PAL mode so I used an RCA cable to navigate the menu on my Panasonic plasma to change it. The blind scan is not the fastest. I haven't timed it yet but it seems comparable to the Openbox S10 receiver. I checked the blindscan on my bandstacked Lnb and it works properly. The diseqc 1.0 switching works well. So far I have been running the receiver for a few hours off probably 150' of coax or so with multiple splitters/couplers and its not dropping out or rebooting. The USALS is easy to setup and drives the dish well.

There isn't a sat button. In order to select a different sat while in the list, you have to press OK to get to the main list. From there you press goto(Group) then toggle the right and left arrow in order to switch satellites.

Here is a screenshot of the installation screen. Overall it is a decent receiver so far but no ac3 audio.

After using this receiver for awhile it is shutting off when trying to move the USALS motor. Similar to the Openbox S10 I have that Pixl provided a fix for. Hopefully it is a similar easy fix.

The transponder in the picture above is said to be 16apsk. I have had the box running on it all morning and there are no glitches. It is supposed to be aac audio and it plays that fine. Another bonus is this box is running cool. Ive had it on for the last 6 hours and it feels barely warm. Some boxes run hot.

I am trying to get ac3 audio from the receiver to my soundbar through the coaxial output but nothing so far. I am not sure how this is supposed to work. Has anyone had luck with getting ac3 audio this way with any receiver?

I picked up a Kenwood surround sound receiver to test the coaxial output of this receiver. I plugged everything in and switched inputs on the Kenwood, it had sound on the normal channels but when I switched to an ac-3 channel, there was nothing. After a hesitation and a click, the Kenwood decoded the ac-3 and now I get audio on those channels!
