I've noticed that several parts of the openbox menu haven't been activated like the pvr function and the usb mass storage. I obviously need to flash the stb with a file but is that done with cable? Is there a loader required? Finally, what file should I use?

They are activated..once you plug in an external USB storage to the openbox you will see USB device connect on screen, then go to the menu and they will be highlighted...once the USB device is removed you will notice the menu for storage is grayed out.
