I managed to backup my Vix image without any issue. I decided to flash an OpenAtv image and all went well except it isn't compatible with blind scan. I am attempting to restore my Vix image but I can't seem to locate it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Look on your hard drive using FileZilla. Look in: /media/hdd/imagebackups or /media/hdd/fullbackup_solo2

I don't understand how I can't access what I have backed up using my receiver. How do you switch between images?

I manually install images, so i am not familiar with automatically switching between images.

Excellent to see the restore, but when the image is being backed up, it tells you the exact location of the backup. Knowing this may help in the future.

Also, Go to where the image was backed up and change or modify the folder name so you will know what the backup is. Put or add VIX, ATV or something else to the folder name so you may identify it.

This is where multiboot shines and makes it easier to switch back and forth between images.

I do not switch images much. I can use the plugins provided in most images to manually load other images without having to get into the hard drive and copy images to usb. This is easy for me to do and I do not have to worry about multiboot working or not.
Same with stored channels and antenna stings. I manually transfer them and do not worry about what image they came out of or if they will successfully transfer. Manual loading of channels, antenna settings, and images is just easier for me, but maybe not everybody else.
