Closed source receiver which there are firmware patches available for it if you intend to use it for more than just FTA stuff, although its very much dependent on which model you buy.

ABCOM boxes have been around in Europe for a good while and have proved to be OK boxes with fairly good build quality. There is a forum dedicated to ABCom boxes meaning any issues with them can be quickly resolved should they arise. Not to sure if there are any channel lists or satellite lists for NA though.

I got a good deal on a VUPlus Solo HD and bought it but i do like the cryptoBox.

I understand the Solo2 has a good blindscan so you might think about upgrading the order if it is not too late.

Yes it is too late i bought this one it was used for two weeks for a $100 shipped.

Well el bandido after checking out the Solo2 and liking it so much i bit the bullet and ordered one so dose any body want to buy a VUPlus Solo.

I think we have a section for selling stuff that you can put it in. Or keep it until the Solo2 arrives to get used to the E2 system. We have plenty of support for E2 here. You also have the option for ATSC usb stick for terrestrial channels.
