Tried changing the audio settings on this channel.... still no go. BUT, it did improve the audio glitching on some of the other channels. Too bad it doesn't solve the glitch problem on all channels. The tuner seems to be VERY sensitive to signal levels (low), whereas, my tv monitor has no problems whatsoever.

The two pictures are for the local PBS station showing the sub channel 8.4. Before changing the audio settings, the audio would glitch badly. After the audio settings change, the glitching dropped to every 3 to 5 minutes. Have run out of ideas to try.

Unzip attached file, then delete the sundtek.conf file in /etc of the receiver. Use this one to replace it.

Reboot the receiver and check for effect.

Will check it out tomorrow. Currently setup to record Antenna tv on 15.2 to see if it's worthwhile recording some old late night shows.

Thanks for the file. The buffers line seems to help considerably.... will have to play more with the buffer value to see if it improves the audio glitching on the remaining offenders. Version 1.40, I was using did not have that value in the conf file. Will have to play with the vtuner setting as well.

I still have to keep changing audio values on some stations in order to eliminate or slow down the audio glitching. But it's a pia to keep doing so. It would help to be able to set the values individually by station when necessary rather than all or nothing. I have to keep changing the digital downmix or the pcm multichannel settings in order to eliminate or cut down the audio glitching.

Wonder why Sundtek didn't mention the bufffer test? But it is an improvement over past performance.

The tuner is atsc, the gui displays as DVB-T.

See post #288... same thing with gui display.

Coders have not changed the gui display to atsc.
