I will give your file another attempt but it wasn't there when I went to image manager, said there wasn't any image to upload.

    Found the problem.
The zipped file that you downloaded has to be in a folder named imagebackups. The receiver will not read the backup zip file unless is in that folder.[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

I will attach the file again in the correct format, and I apologize for the confusion. EB

Attached the backup image in the correct folder.
To install, download attachment, unzip the file and place the imagebackups folder on an usb drive. (Do not disturb or unzip the file inside the folder!) Then follow previous instructions for the Image Manager.

Too cool EB, thanks for all the addons. My only issue, for the moment is attempting an automatic scan. I have configured my sat, simple and advanced, for Anik F1R but when I go to scan it keeps saying that it's scanning Amc 6. This is definitely only the first of many questions- by the way, this box puts all others to shame that I have ever tested.

It will also work if you extract the backup image from the .zip archive and copy the Vuplus folder and its contents directly to the root of a USB stick and flash it as you would any other standard image.

I tried that PR but it didn't flash, also attempted without extracting.

Not sure what I did but I can't get any service at all and the date is showing 1969? Working fine on my other receiver.
