I have several openbox and skyboxes. The skybox f5 has only a few feet of rangee. Has anyone found a solution? I am thinking maybe drill a hole in front of reciever. Tried two remotes same problem. Replacing it with iSmart m100. The iSmart was reloading on sats with no transponders. Now that I have fed it some sat data it seems ok. Some say they get too hot so I put some rubber feet on the bottom and has been ok. Transponder access does not stay on sat so you must choose the sat again.

    Hello and Welcome to Legit!
I have not heard of anybody having remote issues with the Skybox F5.M only suggestion would be to try a fresh set of batteries and see if that helps.
