I am using a X2 Premium that is about a year old, using the January 25,2014, don't know what specific model of the X2 Premium this one is. I was not aware that there were 3 different models of the X2 Premium. Is there a later software issued for the X2 Premium?.

Did more scanning not much progress. Maybe need to readjust the dish.

If yours with Amber (yellow) led light in front is Premium I. If yours with aqua or blue lights on the led in front then is Premium II. Here is the files section for the I and II. They both share same firmware. Channel Editor are diferent. If you have Premium I you need to use older channel editors. I have read some people roll over to older firmware to solve some specific bugs within their system. So you could try going back and see if is better for you.

That seems strange than in the same Tp, only the MPEG-4 channels are not coming in.
I am confused. Which transponder gives you half of the channels?

my X2 front LEDs are blue, which makes it a Premium II. Trying to find the two TPs that have the dual designation, or codes, will keep on searching.

It is a shame that there is no more support for the first two model of the X2...As mentioned earlier on this thread, might have to rework or realign the dish in order to view the MPEG-4 Tp, because after doing some more scanning, there are also some Tp that are missing as well.

More support for the Premium 2? What do you need? I have not seen a feature request for the Premium 2 in a very long time.

The Premium 2 and the Micro HD should receive the MPEG-4 video format.
Let me know if you find a transponder that only gets the other channels besides the MPEG-4 channels using the Premium 2.

it loses the time/date when shut off, making timer recordings impossible.
I believe it started with the 1st firmware that had the 12/24 option for the clock.
I don't use the ethernet port so the receiver must keep good time via gmt usage.
    or am I being obtuse?
