Here's another image called ZebraDem, latest version 3.0.

Has blind scan and a few other additions. Seems stable so far. Handles streaming much better than other images tested. Url switching as fast as sat channels and no lockups, so far. To upgrade to today's version, must do so online.

How is the blind scan compare to VIX?

I didn't actually use a timer but it seems much faster. The manual scan took about a minute and found 420 channels on 97W with a DTV dish. Switching between sats is much faster and accurate using cascaded switches. I like the fast switching with url streams and no reboots. Also, they have to correct the time menu. It doesn't allow selection of NTP time as other images do and it's a half hour slow. I'd say it's a pretty good start for a new comer.
