    I had the "beta" file loaded and working.
    I saved the channel list and loaded the "official" firmware,which after a comparison with a hex editor,is different.
    It wouldn't accept the channel list I just saved,I had to load one I saved back in october.
    I opened the "bad" channel list with ezm and it opened fine and looked good.
    or am I being obtuse?

    Since this may create some confussion I went ahead and deleted the beta Nov6 file that you posted. The releases notes on Xsat were also in some kind of way different so I will asked Vip3r to get an official USA release and post it in the proper file location with the official releases notes. Thanks

    6969 with the remote then the rs232 menu appears.
    This must be done to be able to use the ez manager via rs232 for people that might say it's for hackers only.
    By default the rs232 is set to twin and must be set to debug for ezm to work.
    or am I being obtuse?

    what's a hacker ??? somebody who hacks coconuts ?? to get the water...or someone hacks meats in to nice cuts.. so we can buy and barbeque ..?? or just some madman on tv . who hacks people EG: JASON, SAW III, ect !!
