    As mentioned earlier, the RCU is lethargic, unresponsive or too fast between menu displays. Solved this by removing the dark plastic front lens cover. Seems the transmitter lens is placed about one inch too far inside the RCU case. Now, it makes it worth while to use this receiver for the blind scanning speed.

    Still playing with it and finding some bugs. Saved my old sat list I created from the prior firmware only to find out I cannot reload it to the new firmware via usb. I am sure they will eventually correct some of these problems. I was given an editor which I haven't had time to try out yet. It seems to handle Xls, Sdx, Bin and Config files but no lan support, only RS232.

    Will keep testing and finding more gremlins... LOL

    I think I know that one, say's Lan no suppor this time....lol

    Here you go...But I was disappointed since it won't read the channel list, among other short comings.

    Did some more testing today and it looks like the new firmware will accept a sat and channel list created by the older firmware. It can be loaded by a usb stick. Makes it less tedious not having to reset sat list parameters.
