just got the eyebox x5 yesterday, when doing a blind scan I realized the 29270 symbol rate feeds or channels would not scan in, for example 3781 v 29270 channels wont scan in on 121 west and the fight now hd channel comes in pixelated pretty bad. just wondering anyone with the eyebox is having similar problems.

No issues on my end at all with those symbol rates. The only 2 channels that I have encountered any problems are Filmon and one other on Ses 2 at 87w. The tp you mentioned above scanned in normally for me and no picture issues at all.

Won't be home till the weekend to be able to check it out. I am using the same fw that came with the box. If your experiencing symbol rate issues then I probably wouldn't want to flash any new fw.

too late, I downloaded it monday when I received the receiver, maybe the firmware is what causing the problem.

Maybe costa can make a dump copy w/out channels and post it in the file sections with the release date so you can download a copy and bring back your box??

went back to the december firmware and the same thing happened, also did a factory reset. actually I got it to work by manually changing frequency from 3780 to 3667. the fight now channel is still pixelated.

carlos
those decrease or changes in the tp frequency tells me something is wrong with the lnb! Usually a couple of numbers up or down on the TP will be OK (SR can change more) but when the numbers are dramatically out of range something is wrong with the lnb.X2 Premium III HD, Openbox X5/ S10, Gsky V3/V6, iSmart m100
