Are the connections hot on this receiver all the time what i mean is will it send out power thru the coaxial like to a vbox even with it cut off.

On mine, if you shut off with RC there is no voltage on the line.

Yeah... hitting the off button on the RC leaves the receiver on standby, but shuts off the voltage to the coax.
