Just got my new Openbox x5 yesterday. It would be great if we could create a forum for the review of this new receiver as it seems to have lots of potential. It comes equipped with an hdmi cable but a North American adapter will be required. I only tested it out briefly last night and have never seen a menu like this on any openbox/skybox receiver. Blind scan is lightning fast with its 667 Mhz high speed processor:

Not quite sure about that as I have never tested E2 on any receiver as of yet. I'm just deleting all sats from Europe and Asia and will be testing it out starting at 11w on c band. Here's a pic of the menu, kind of looks like an i-phone screen:

I have managed to scan all c band sats from 11-99w so far and I must say I'm quite impressed with this receiver. A bit complicated until you get the hang of it, its blind scan is the fastest of any receiver I have ever tested (under 1 minute for all sats and even under 30 seconds for some. Its tuner is quite sensitive and doesn't miss a tp which is quite a relief since you know that all that is out there actually scans in. I'm going to finish scanning my arc before testing out the other capabilities of this receiver.

I've been testing the eyebox x5 for almost 1 month now and this receiver is a keeper for me. Its lightning fast blind scan, tuner sensitivity, unrivalled info, accurate clock and internet access have me spoiled. The only 2 drawbacks that I have encountered thus far is a slow channel change and the remote isn't as responsive as I would like it to be. All in all, you can't go wrong with this receiver and it's under $100.

    Simple.
Is it a dual boot like the specs say or is it a single boot like 99 percent of current fta receivers??
