Play MKV's on Raptor HD

Hi,

If I tried to play certain mkv files on my Raptor I surprised because the aspect ratio became strange. Seems like wide movies (wider than 16:9) are always streched vertically, and this phenomena assigns a very weird look to persons and objects. Usually in movies with e.g. 1:2.35 aspect ratio, there are black stripes, over and under of each frame. In my case these stripes are filled up with the streched movie.

I am actually using fw. 2.11.16

Is there anybody who has a solution for this?

Haven't found any. Some mkv's won't play period, while others look great. Maybe they will solve this in the newer firmware.
