I have a Qbox s2 usb it works good on there TBSViewer-v20111220 program but its not a very good software to limited. I have tried using progdvb all verisons and dreamdvb and it allways locks up or is very slow to respond to changing channels. I have tried it on 3 different cpus and win versions acts the same on all. Tried different codex and use up todate drivers. Has any body else had the same problem. And can you help ?

I haven't personally used any of the PC cards out there. Does that card allow you to watch 4:2:2?

I have usually found that the lockups usually happen with incorrect drivers for the software being used. Have you tried SmartDVB. It plays well with most cards, plus it now has blind scan for most cards.

You can download it here and it's free.

I always start with checking out the drivers when having a problem, it was not that. I have loaded win 8 preview and TBS Veiwer it works very good and does not lockup. No change in drivers.

Gary, how's the Qbox working out for you, especially with Win8, x32 or x64? Have you had time to try out Dvbdream, SmartDvb, ProgDvb or AltDvb with Win8 yet?

I have x64, also I have tried progdvb, Dvbdream still have delay and freezing. The new TBS Veiwer is the only one that doesnt freeze or lockup.
