    Anything that you get in the 100 dollar price range will probably be Ali if you buy new. One Ali receiver is about the same as another.

    If you want something different, try a linux receiver. The Golden Media ONE would be the cheapest linux receiver that I am familiar with, but it will cost more than 100 new. if you are interested in this receiver, send Viper a PM and see what he has to offer on one of the linux receivers. EB

    I agree with EB and that you should go Linux, the Golden-media has the fastest blind scan and one hell of a media center. As for under $100, the only one I would reccomend would be the Skybox f3.
