Is this the only Optibox using the Ali chipset?
    Optibox Anaconda, X2, OpenBox-S9, CS8000 and 2 X CW700S, 7 1/2' Perfect Ten scanning 55W to 139W C Band and a 39" Q-Sat scanning 30W to 125W Ku Band

I think the term would be official Optibox using ALI..in that case I think so...but.. you never really know for sure, Optibox, Amiko, ect, ect, and so on are manufactured many times at the same factory, others are not.. Most Optibox models such as the raptor and anaconda are made in South Korea and supported by coders from Fortis.

Over priced Amiko is Chinese and supported by the Chinese coders, Fulan Spark.

Golden Media ( much cheaper and faster) is made in the Tangier free zone in Morocco by GMI and also supported by Fulan Spark....lol

If Enigma 2 had blind scan support this would change things for the better for all.

So yes EC, I think so....lol

Thanks for posting those pictures Traian. I'm just curious as to its blind scan speed as most ali chip based receivers are quite fast and if all channel info comes up when you press the info button on the remote. To be a bit more specific, I would need to know instantly if what I'm watching is mpeg-2, mpeg-4, 480i, 576i, 720p or 1080i.

I wonder what the max number of channels and sat positions are.

Also the 128 meg dram is half of the other Optiboxes have.
