The front display on the TripleX can be set so that nothing is displayed but a red light when you turn the receiver off using the remote control. To do this, turn the receiver off using the remote control, open the receiver's front panel, then press and hold the menu button. The word "STANDBY" should appear on the receiver and blink. Then press the exit button and hold both buttons down for a second or two. When you release both buttons, the display should be blank and the red light should be ON.

To turn the display on in standby, press the menu button then press the ok button and hold both buttons down for a second or two. When you release both buttons, the display and the red light should be on. EB

Is there any means to adjust the brightness on this display? I think my Sonicview had a setting to adjust brightness.
