Hello east of one eleven I just have a wondering question about the youporn stuff i ask you because i see you probaly know.

I also can see this u porn on a alma 2200 so my question is and since this is the first time i ever used an fta hooked up with the internet along with blind scanning ku sats

can you kind of tell me what is this u porn? where does it come from? how does it work is what im aksing over all?

I might look lame for asking but i have not strayed away from itc tv now since im guessin 4 or five years now> and this u porn kind of reminds me of a time when if i have to add new firmware to my fta box somthing madethe last one not work on you porn? he he

If you have kiddies in the family that have access to your receiver, I would be sure to use parental lock on this item. He he he.

Seems that the author of youporn is competing with another provider of same called mr. beeeg, which is used in the Octagon boxes.

ok another fta brand octagon has a different place its porn comes from and your brand and the alma both have u porn thats why its there?



all i can say is this is pretty cool to have the little extra stuff on your fta box like the u tube/porn they took away google map that was neat to use from sitting down in your bed doing search and zooming down to places to see... but its gone now from this version of firmware.

The beauty of the Raptor and other Optibox receivers are they are capable of loading many other softwares with ease..and just a simple plug in installed will make this happen.. The old saying is true...you get what you pay for.

How do you load plugins into the raptor.

To load a freetv plugin, unzip the file and put it on a clean usb stick. Insert the stick into the receiver, then start YouTube and follow the screen prompts.
You may also load through ftp but the usb method will be easier for most users. EB

Does loading plug ins use up memory resources that might affect other areas of the receiver such as scanning speed or ability to add sat setups?

We would not expect the plugins or addons to affect other areas of the receiver.
