At the predicted time for your area anyplace in your yard that has direct sunlight is a candidate for a dish. This will be going on for the next few days, see calculator link. I set my first dish post up 28 years ago and had a clear shot from 15w to 141w. There is a hill across the road from me with tall trees that slowly blocked 141, then 139 as they continue to grow. Now this past summer 137w has been marginal. Yesterday I observed my dish pointed at 137 at 5:17pm EDT and the bottom third of the dish is now shadowed. The trees owned by others are too tall to climb up there. I will hope for some signal back when the leaves fall off for the year. But this is a great tool for evaluating trees etc.
