Control your Triplex VIA Android device (new Spark app)

There is a new Spark app in the files section that you can load onto your favorite Android device. It allows you to use your phone or tablet as a full featured remote control.

You must update your receiver to the latest 1.2.63 spark firmware that is available VIA network download.

Once you load the app into your phone or tablet you can access the main menu where you will have 7 options:

Service

Program

Remote

Power

Setting

Initially you will need to go to the settings portion and enter the IP address that your receiver is using in your network. You can access this information in the net settings screen on your Triplex receiver. You then enter that IP address into the menu on your android device. Once it is entered you will be able to connect to your receiver.

This works well with the Triplex receiver. I would imagine it would work with the GM spark One receiver and possibly other spark devices. My favorite thing about this is that the numbers are lit up so it is helpful when using the setup in the dark.
