GMT off, set up the time and date manually.
This is the same way I do it but when I change from sat to sat and turn the box off it does keep the time but the date goes back to 1970
Just tried it out Carlos, retains the time but defaults back to 1970. This receiver, as most, is a bit buggy but if they can address these minor issues I would keep this as my main scanner for c band.
We need to make sure they get our request/ feedback!
I'm told a new file is expected late next week to address Motor issues, I'm not sure what else will be included, They have our list of goodies we would like where possible.Quote:

Just don't shoot the messenger if we don't see it then.. I have never liked timelines and prefer things are corrected if possible and done right and not rushed.
Totally agree Viper, the x2 has impressed me and I have been through about 10 stb just this past year. I plan on being extremely patient with this receiver.
If the communication is there we will be more than happy to wait!!
Mine does the same thing with the date! Oh well I can live with a few bugs!! As a whole it is an excellent receiver and does very well! I mean for 53 bucks it's a steal in my eyes! It is really impressive! I might buy another one to have a spare. Either that or try the X7??
