Prior database loaded fine, Yay! This alone is a time saver for me. But it did not load the switch settings, for me anyway.
Tried the old XML file and it loads much easier than with prior firmware.
Just updated and noticed that the quality meter for the Wi-Fi is inoperative.
Google Maps works great however I cannot get the map to move with the arrow buttons. I am able to load the map via zip code.
Just flashed the file and great to see database restore is working.
I must have done something wrong - didn't get any HD channels? Suggestions please? Thanks.
The wi-fi meter does not work on mine also, I could not get Google Maps to work but the software handeling of the box is much better, I only have a 30" antenna right now but I was able to pick up 34 more channels and 2 satellites in the 50s that I was not able to recieve anything before, I am on the west coast so I was supprised about the additional satellites. The X2 just keeps getting better and better. I just need to get a better antenna system. Thanks X2 for a great and inexpensive reciever!!!!!!!!!
Audio level is too low with this version of software. I have it cranked all the way up, and it's still too low. With my previous version, I'd be blown out of the room at this setting.

Make sure you scanned with the option of "All Channels" or "Free Channels". It is possible with the wrong setting (there's 3 or 4 others) to NOT get HD channels.
I noticed the volume thing too, if I put it on 29 out of 31 it's ok, But it seems to adjust its own level , sometime during the day Sunday, while I was out, it had re-adusted its volume level back down to about 14 and I could barely hear anything, until I thought to check it. They seem to have done something to the scan procedure too-it now stays on the satellite after a scan, but will still scroll into the Master Channel list if you 'channel up or down' past the listed channels on a satellite. But it is better. Haven't tried deleting channels yet-hope they fixed that 'no preview on working channels' problem while deleting.
