There are 3 Openbox V8 models out there. The original V8s (which are not really original), Megabox V8 is a clone of a clone and the Freesat version V8 and V8 combo. The first 2 used the same Original Openbox(skybox) style firmware. The Freesat version is a different version and it has a different firmware. All 3 are models of the Openbox style boxes. For some they're great for others cheap Chinese boxes. I have read good feedback from the Freesat version.

I know the latest Freesat V8 models do both 16/32 APSK but no idea on the old Ali Openbox/Skybox units. They usually don't.
