Too bad and the guy is in Cornwall about every 2 weeks so no shipping charge.
Hey sadass, paint the pole and dish to look like a sunflower. No one will ever notice. :smoke:Quote:

Costa, how heavy is that dish for ground shipping?
It's not mentioned in the manual East but I would have to say about 40-45lbs with all the accessories.
Just did a rate request from UPS for 50# from Cornwall to AZ. and it comes out to $179 ground shipping. Too bad it's so expensive for shipping or I would bite.
You would deal directly with the seller East and he's located in Newmarket, Ontario.Quote:

I just received my new heavy duty H to H CX-500 for the Channel Master dish. I picked this up on a UK site and figured I saved hundreds instead of going the route of an actuator and a polar mount. I will have pictures later on. This is where I found it:

Looks like it's built like a tank!
It is East, this is old school. They don't build them like that anymore. I will slap a stand alone positioner to move the dish. I'm just not sure where to install this dish to avoid my wife divorcing me- an inground pole or on the roof???/
